Andrea Abler (she/her) is a technical analyst at the RAND Corporation where she contributes to policy research through modeling and simulation, quantitative and qualitative research methods, project management, and political cartoon illustration. Her research interests include military personnel, education, and training. Prior to joining RAND, Andrea worked as an operations research analyst at the U.S. Army's TRADOC Analysis Center (TRAC) and graduated with honors from the U.S. Army Logistics University's ORSA Military Applications Course (ORSA-MAC).

Andrea holds an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University, an M.S. in physical oceanography from the University of California, San Diego, and bachelor's degrees in physics and history from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
