As part of the U.S. Coast Guard's Project Evergreen, this report outlines the strategic importance of seabed developments and potential future implications for the U.S. Coast Guard. The Coast Guard might consider developing organizational structures, capabilities and capacities, doctrine, relationships and partnerships, technology, and enhanced maritime domain awareness in the undersea realm to ensure seabed safety, security, and stewardship.
