Common Shop Stock Lists for the Army's Ground Brigade Combat Teams

Kenneth Girardini, Candice Miller

ResearchPublished Apr 30, 2025

The authors suggested improvements to the process used to update shop stock lists (SSLs) for the Army's ground brigade combat teams to (1) better support readiness of critical equipment in high-tempo operations, (2) enable unit battlefield mobility, and (3) reduce the workload required to reconfigure storage locations and redistribute parts no longer authorized for stockage. They suggested that shops that support the same equipment all use a common SSL.
