Frequency model estimation
ResearchPublished Feb 26, 2021
This report documents the development of the frequency models that form part of TfL's Model of Travel in London (MoTiON). The frequency models are estimated using observed data on individual's choice of travelling considering different personal and household characteristics.
A focus of the model estimation work was to specify the models to ensure that the models represented an average weekday during school term time to better represent the peak levels of demand on London's highway and public transport networks.
The research described in this report was prepared for Transport for London (TfL) and conducted by RAND Europe.
