Theresa Reichstadt is a research leader at RAND Europe, where she leads the organisation’s energy and environment research portfolio. Her work focuses on delivering rigorous, policy-relevant analysis across clean energy, decarbonisation, the circular economy, green fiscal instruments, and wider environmental policy.

Reichstadt has an extensive track record in cost–benefit analysis, impact assessment, and policy evaluation, and is known for providing evidence-based insights that inform strategic decision-making across government, industry, and international organisations. She has led both quantitative and qualitative research programmes, managing complex economic models and multidisciplinary teams to deliver actionable recommendations for clients.

Reichstadt received her M.Sc. in economic development from the University of London - School of Oriental and African Studies and her B.Sc. in economics from the University of Tampa.
