Greg Midgette is the justice portfolio manager and a senior policy researcher at RAND, a professor of policy analysis at the RAND School of Public Policy, and an associate professor of criminology and criminal justice at the University of Maryland. His research interests are crime and drug policy, particularly the economics of illicit markets and the evaluation of interventions to illegal and illicit drug use and supply.
Midgette's work has been published in leading journals in public policy, public health, criminology, and criminal justice and covered by the New York Times, Science News, Vice News, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post among other outlets. He received his Ph.D. in public policy analysis from the RAND School of Public Policy and M.P.P. from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.
