AK Keskin is an assistant policy researcher at RAND and a Ph.D. student in the Research, Analysis, and Design stream at the RAND School of Public Policy.

His research interests concern applications of causal inference in education policy and include academic, behavioral, and postsecondary outcomes. His work at RAND spans large-scale randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and research-practice partnerships to test novel interventions and implement programs geared towards improving educational outcomes, as well as national surveys such as the American Educator Panels that monitor K-12 education trends. 

Prior to joining RAND, he was a senior project manager and researcher at Koç University in Türkiye for a European Research Council-funded RCT that studied the causal role of peer interactions and classroom environment in the formation of individual beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, outcomes and noncognitive skills. Keskin holds an M.Sc. in comparative and international education from the University of Oxford and a B.S.(Hon) in international business and economics with a minor in government and world affairs from the University of Tampa.
