Alexis Gable (she/her) is an associate policy researcher at RAND. Her research primarily focuses on how the U.S. education and training system prepares people for work, though her interests span workforce development, postsecondary education, K–12 education, and social policy.

Her recent work has examined workforce training providers and programs, public job training participation and outcomes, and high school and postsecondary career and technical education.

Prior to joining RAND, Gable co-founded the Workforce Almanac at the Harvard Project on Workforce and worked as a research fellow at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. She earned a Ph.D. in education policy and program evaluation from Harvard University and a B.S.Ed. in social policy and economics from Northwestern University.
