Improvements in Maternal Cardiovascular Health Over the Perinatal Period Longitudinally Predict Lower Postpartum Psychological Distress Among Individuals Who Began Their Pregnancies With Overweight or Obesity

Improved cardiovascular health (CVH) across pregnancy predicted lower postpartum distress among individuals with pre-pregnancy overweight or obesity. Promoting CVH during pregnancy could enhance postpartum psychological well-being in high-risk individuals.

Associations Between Prenatal Loss of Control Eating and Cardiovascular Health During Pregnancy

Among pregnant individuals with pre-pregnancy overweight or obesity, loss of control (LOC) over eating was associated with poorer cardiovascular health (CVH) even after controlling for known risk factors for poor CVH.

Racial Differences in Treatment Intensity at the End of Life Among Older Adults with Heart Failure: Evidence from the Health and Retirement Study

We compared treatment intensity between Black and White older adults with heart failure (HF) near the end of life, finding that Black HF patients were more likely to spend time on life support and die in a hospital than White HF patients.
