Rahim Ali is a senior technical analyst at RAND with a background in civil engineering and construction management. His research experience spans across themes including critical infrastructure protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and disaster preparedness and recovery. Examples of his research and analysis contributions include developing tools and frameworks to examine natural hazard risks to infrastructure supporting military installations, evaluating and identifying opportunities to improve disaster recovery policies and programs, and identifying climate risks to critical infrastructure systems. His prior professional experience includes working as a summer researcher for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and working in the construction management industry.
